Why Believe in Creation Theory?
INTRODUCTION

No one can prove how the world was actually formed, but creation and all aspects of life point to intelligent design.
Throughout history, humans have always asked the classic questions: Where do we come from? Where are we going? These questions arise from a genuine curiosity to understand why we exist. Is there really a purpose for life?
Among many theories trying to explain the origin of life, none have been able to logically explain the reason for the existence of all things, matter, and energy. Explaining the origin of a universe that has existed for millennia is not an easy task for humans. When we observe all the wonders of this planet and the precision of the events that happen to sustain life, there is no doubt that all of this was designed by something intelligent and powerful.
First, I must clarify that the name given to these explanations is called a theory because there is no way to prove them, so no one can truly claim with evidence that the theory is true. Knowing this, we can also say that no one knows the origin of matter and energy in the universe, there is no known starting point for mankind. We simply know that it exists because when life began, everything was already in place, but the Bible clearly states that the universe was created by the Word of God. Many people deny the existence of God because they cannot see Him, so they cannot prove His existence. Other people have had bad experiences or simply chose not to believe. Some view the idea of an all-powerful, absolute being who never reveals Himself visibly as absurd to believe in. These people choose to believe in other things, such as extraterrestrials bringing life to this world, the Big Bang—a massive expansion of condensed matter and energy in a single point—the evolution of humans from a branch of primate genealogy, and so on. All of these are theories brought by science, but believing in them requires just as much faith as admitting the existence of God.
Science, indeed, is very important for understanding the world in which we live. It can logically explain how things work. Throughout history, countless civilizations worshiped gods, each with its own gods. Curious, right? Humankind has always believed in the existence of something greater. Every civilization had its own story to explain the origin of the world, and there were always superior beings involved. Science should not be seen as something that opposes religion but rather as a complement, capable of explaining how the deeds of this God are possible.
The creationist theory acknowledges that God, a superior, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent being, created the universe and everything in it. This theory can be found in the Bible, the Christian holy book. Ancient civilizations tried to explain certain phenomena and questions from their daily lives through stories of their gods, such as explaining the cause of fire, the creation of the world, the harvest, natural phenomena that brought harm and were considered curses, and so on.
Some of these mythological stories share similarities with the Christian narrative in the Bible. In Greek mythology, humans were created by the Titans, but also from clay, just as described in the Bible. In Norse mythology, Odin, Vili, and Ve (three gods) created the first couple, who gave birth to all the peoples of the earth (another biblical similarity). Overall, all these mythologies contain elements of human imagination, but the only book that tells the history of the world and has historical evidence of its truthfulness is the Bible (and the Torah, but in a very brief way, this is the biblical Pentateuch, i.e., the first five books of the Bible). Once again, I want to make it clear that there is no way to definitively prove the creation described in the Bible, but considering the historical and archaeological evidence that supports the accounts of people and books, it is possible to see that the biblical narratives are true. The Bible was a book inspired by God, and although it was written by men, the words are from God for humanity itself. In another article, we will dedicate time to explain the process of selecting the books that make up the Bible, but for now, you just need to know that God exists! He is powerful, kind, just, and wants to communicate with you. Open your heart and allow God to speak. God cannot be seen, but you can talk to Him whenever you want—just let Him be a part of your life!
