After sin, human beings lost direct contact with God, so God inspired men to write his words to communicate with us.

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

                                                                                                                                                              John 5:39

Since the fall of man, humanity lost direct contact with God and, over time, this relationship weakened more and more. Due to sin, mankind strayed far from the path it should have followed from the beginning. Therefore, God had to communicate with man in different ways throughout the history of this world. He set apart a people to follow His principles, fulfill His plans, and preach to other nations; He anointed kings, raised up prophets, performed great miracles and wonders to protect His people, preserve His message, and inspired men to write the books of the Bible, so that today you have the opportunity to be saved through all the principles and teachings He provides.

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

                                                                                                                                                            2 Peter 1:21

The Holy Bible is a collection of 66 books written by approximately 40 authors. It is also referred to as the "Word of God," "Holy Scriptures," or "Book of the Lord." Despite having so many authors and being written over a period of more than 1,500 years, the authors of this sacred book do not contradict each other because all were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the means by which God communicates with humanity today. Through it, we acquire the necessary knowledge for our salvation, the righteous correction that allows us to grow spiritually, and it draws us closer to God.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

                                                                                                                                                 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The correction that the Bible brings is meant to provide us with spiritual maturity, just as a precious stone is polished when it is found. God desires that we be shaped to become stronger spiritually and steadfast in His ways.

In the book of Psalms 119:105, it says: "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." In this world of darkness, we need a light to guide us, and that light is the Word of God. Where there is only suffering, error, and death, we can find hope in the Scriptures and be assured that one day evil will come to an end.

In all His justice and grace, God decided to rescue humanity from sin. There is, and will never be, any power capable of opposing the Creator of the universe. His words are eternal. He created the plan of salvation to rescue His lost sheep.

Choose to stand with the Creator today, for no matter what difficulties we face, He will be by His children’s side and will supply all needs, for the greatest joy of a father is to see his children happy. "But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." Luke 11:28.
